The   Mentoring   Group   Covenant

This Mentoring Group Covenant is an agreement between

·         you and God,

·         you and the Mentor,  and

·         you and the other members of the group

The following eight statements of the Covenant provide the basic guidelines for forming and maintaining a healthy Mentoring Group:

1.       I have trusted Jesus Christ alone to forgive me of all my sins and give me eternal life.

2.       As a responsible member of the Family of God, I am committed to my own personal spiritual growth.

3.       Recognizing that we are all called to minister to one another, I commit myself to the goal of supporting and encouraging the other members of my group.

4.       I will actively seek to glorify God through the use of gifts and abilities that the Holy Spirit has given me.

5.       I will make every attempt to be present with my group each time we meet.

6.       I will diligently strive to perform the homework before each meeting.

7.       I will hold in confidence all personal matters discussed in my group, unless I have the permission to do otherwise.

8.       I will seek to learn more about the role God has equipped me for, in winning the world for Jesus Christ.

I hereby pledge before God to seek to become a faithful member of my Mentoring Group, by keeping the guidelines outlined in the above Covenant.
